Interactions and sessions are not intended to substitute for the advice, treatment, and/or diagnosis by a qualified licensed professional.

Any interaction, anywhere, with Backpocket Confidante and its independent contractors, is not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any disease or condition. Listening, mentoring, guidance, energy healing, and any meditative or somatic processes are in no way to be construed or substituted as psychological counseling or any other type of therapy or medical advice. Clients agree to accept full responsibility for the practical application of the information provided.​

I understand that my participation in any Backpocket Confidante/Laura J. Widman, Amy Painter or any Independent Contractor facilitators of Backpocket Confidante-sponsored or initiated sessions, appointments, workshops, online call/webinars, events, or other activities is completely voluntary.

I agree to release, hold harmless and indemnify Backpocket Confidante/Laura J. Widman/Amy Painter and its independent contractors for any and all liability, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in any way connected with my participation or the participation of any minor who I am signing on the behalf of, in any activities offered by Backpocket Confidante. I personally assume all risks in connection with these activities.

The terms of this agreement shall serve as a release and indemnity agreement for my heirs, personal representatives and for all members of my family. I understand the conditions above and hereby consent to participate in these sessions/activities.

By registering for a session/gathering with Backpocket Confidante or Laura J. Widman, Amy Painter or its independent contractors, I hereby consent to receiving notification emails and/or messages regarding my participation in the event I am registering for and for future events mailing list.

Cancellations for phone sessions must be made 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Anyone who books an appointment but does not show up will be charged for their session. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us by emailing info@backpocketconfidante.com
